It may be important for people to be able to contact you. Having a contact us page is a way to give them this ability.

To begin, you need to create a new category for a contact us page. Log in to the back end of your site. From the menu bar at the top of the page select: Components > Contacts > Contact Categories
Click the new Type a name and title for the category. (example: Contact).
Click the Save
Next, create a new contact for the site. From the menu bar select: Components > Contacts > Manage Contacts
Click the New Type in the details for your contact page (do not link to a user). Select the category you created earlier from the drop down box. In the Publish Info section to the right, Site Default should be set to yes.
Click the save
The next step is to create a menu link to the contact. From the menu bar select: Menu > mainmenu
Click on the new Click Link - Contact Item.
Click the next button at the top of the page. Type in new menu name (Contact Matthew). Select the Contact to Link that you created earlier.
Click on the Save
Now test your addition. Go to the front end of your site. Refresh your page and see the addition. It is a good idea to check your changes/additions in the front end as you do them, because if you have made a mistake it easier to correct it right away than going back later.
