Probably one of the things you'll change the most is the content on your front page. The front page is the first thing visitors see when they get to your site.

Follow the instructions in the tutorial, Creating a Content Item. After you have created the item, go to the 'publishing' tab to the right of your text box. Check the 'Show on Frontpage' box. Now your content item will show on the front page. Click the Save Button. You may also publish a previously saved item, on the front page. Go to Content > All Content Items.
Find the content item you wish to show on the front page, then click on the red X under the Front Page column so that it turns into a green check mark.

The front page content is the page that shows when your site is first opened. Choose text and/or images that best represents your organization.
